Why You’ll Find My Artwork on Both My Website and Bluethumb Art

If you followed my art journey for a while, you probably know that my original artwork are always available through my website. 

What you may not know is that I’ve also built a substantial collection on Bluethumb Art, Australia’s largest online marketplace for original Australian art.

People occasionally ask why I sell my work in both places, so I thought I’d share a little of the thinking behind it.

For an independent artist, visibility matters. While my website is my creative home, Bluethumb Art introduces my work to people who may never have discovered it otherwise. Another advantage is their buying power and established shipping network. Bluethumb Art can often offer more competitive shipping rates, particularly for international collectors, making it easier for my artwork to find homes beyond Australia.

Of course, they do receive a commission on every sale, but for me it’s a worthwhile partnership. Their platform, marketing and audience create opportunities that would be difficult to achieve on my own.
