Beneath The Blue Evening

Beneath the Blue Evening is a semi abstract dreamscape, inspired by my late grandparents’ home — a place filled with childhood memories, warmth and family connection.

Beginning with a printed image (that I created) of my late grandparents’ home, I worked intuitively with layers of flowing acrylic paint (including spray paint), texture and colour, gradually shifting the piece away from realism and into a more emotional and memory / dream -driven landscape.

Bathed in deep blue evening tones and luminous light, the artwork unfolds like a dreamscape of memory — where familiar places soften, shift and glow with the emotion of time passed.
