Inspired by the luminous transition of the evening sky, Where Stillness Expands explores that fleeting moment when colour deepens, light softens, and the world begins to slow. It is an invitation to pause—to notice the beauty that emerges as day quietly gives way to night.

Layers of ultramarine, indigo and petrol blue create a rich, atmospheric landscape, while subtle passages of copper evoke the warmth of fading light lingering on distant clouds. The horizontal composition gently guides the eye across the painting before returning to a quiet central stillness, creating a sense of both openness and calm.
